Artem Maevskiy, Head of the Marketing and Foreign Economic Relations Department of the PAPER FACTORY Production Unitary Enterprise of Goznak (Belarus)
We are the debutants of the InterFood exhibition. We are very interested in the Azerbaijani market in terms of developing the sale of school exercise books, etc. Our company works with countries such as Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Moldova, etc. We are developing an export direction and intend to supply a third exercise book line in the future. We sell about 100,000,000 exercise books for export annually. This is a very good indicator, but we are striving for even more.
Among the exhibits are exercise books, envelopes, greaseproof paper for packaging. Our range also includes office paper and a line of coloured papers. Previously, there were only five colours available, now the number has increased to twenty-six. Approximately 150 tons of our paper are sold monthly on the Russian market. We would very much like to prove ourselves in the Azerbaijani market. I also plan to visit the stationery market of Azerbaijan; it is very
effective and interesting when all stationery is sold in one place.
The pandemic, of course, has affected the economy as a whole. However, to be honest, it did not influence the development of our sector too much. Each exhibition gives us a certain result. It provides an opportunity to establish contacts, find partners.
