Saadat Shakikhanli, Lead Marketing Manager, Buta Group
The Buta Group company has been fruitfully operating in the agricultural market of Azerbaijan for more than ten years. At this year’s exhibition, we are represented by two brands - Buta Agro and AzGubre. Buta Agro owns a large greenhouse complex in the Baku village of Zira, where tomatoes are grown for the domestic market and for export, and also 600 hectares in Ismayilli Agropark, specializing in the cultivation of potatoes, onions and corn. In February 2020, the AzGubre brand, which sells seeds, fertilizers and pesticides to farmers in sixty outlets of the company in 8 economic districts of our Republic, was established. For the convenience of farmers and to save their time, the company also carries out mobile sales of all its products.
Unlike Buta Agro, AzGubre is presented at the InterFood Azerbaijan exhibition for the first time. Here we not only exhibit all our products, but also provide free advice from agronomists to visitors. Among the novelties, Buta Agro would single out three different varieties of cherry tomatoes, which we present to customers in a packaged form.
The exhibition is very fruitful for us, the flow of visitors at the stand does not diminish all the days of the exhibition. I think that at the end of the exhibition new interesting contracts await us.
