Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The first agreements with farmers wishing to engage in ecological farming of hazelnuts have been signed in Azerbaijan.

The Regional Assessment & Resource Centre of Eco-Friendly Agriculture (ETKT) reports that the first such agreements were signed today with farmers of Gakh district. According to the agreement, they will receive from Center the assistance in the form of professional consultations and transfer of knowledge and experience of farming in new ways.

The Center operating under the National Academy of Sciences (AMEA) has also created advisory councils for the directions of ETKT.
